One of my first projects as an interior design student was a design of an annex for the Kindergarten “Maimouna” in Hamburg to make room for new classrooms. As contrast to the old part of the building made of brick and with a low level of sunlight, the new part was created airy with big window spaces. A zigzag shape functions as uniting design element on all levels and shapes a hallway installation, that functions as a playing module for the kids.
